Wetlands

State and federal regulations require strict adherence to rules governing the disturbance of wetlands.  Water Resources provides a full compliment of services including evaluation, delineation, permitting and mitigation design, construction of wetlands, monitoring, and wetland banking credits. Our three-phased approach to evaluation (walk-through, determination, and delineation) assures the client that issues are identified early in the process and any problems are addressed with the least time and expense.

Water Resources’ work has been concentrated in Tennessee and Kentucky but our experience with wetland issues has extended into 11 other states.  Permitting demands a strong working relationship with both the state and federal regulators.  Our reputation enables us to provide our clients with solutions to complex environmental problems in a timely fashion.

What our Clients say about us:

“Water Resources has supported Quantum Environmental & Engineering Services by performing wetlands and stream characterization work on multiple projects.  From assisting with large residential/commercial development sites, to some of the largest state building commission projects in the State of Tennessee, Water Resources’ high quality work has enabled Quantum to complete very complex permitting with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and Tennessee Valley Authority.  The professionalism and confidence with which Water Resources personnel conduct their work brings instant credibility with regulating agencies of all types.”

Our business expansion was stalled due to unavoidable impacts to a wetland.  I had practically given up on it until Water Resources came along.  They broke the logjam with the regulators and we had our permit in just a few months.
